I have my second broody hen now. My 1st one hatched 3 and one died. So far this one has hatched 1 today. I plan on being sneaky and sticking a few Buff Orpingtons under her next week. That explains the post about the hamburg in the woods after you posted one about the other hatching her chicks. I was confused there for a second. I thought maybe the 1st had lost her clutch and went back to sitting in the woods or something. Well, good luck with the chicks.
