I'm sure they are big chickens by now... I've been thoroughly enjoying your blog these last few days. I started reading from the beginning! We bought our four acre farmstead in 2002, thankfully before the real estate downfall began. It's been slow going for us, since we had four kids- two of them in diapers in the beginning. I love your stories and sense of humor. Your husband sounds wonderful, very different from mine in some ways, but in others the same. :) Best wishes! Your little peeps were adorable! You'll have to get over here to kiss on these babies. We should have 4 more within the next couple of weeks. And then I'm hoping we're finished with it for this year! Trixi - There's just something about baby chicks that takes your breath away, isn't there? I need to do something different next year - it's getting a little out of control around here.
