Bernie’s been busy adding the lean-to on the front of the goat barn the last couple of days.
He never ceases to amaze me what he’s learned to do since we’ve moved here. I think he does such a nice job with buildings – something he had no idea how to do not so very long ago.
Georgia and Mirrie worked up an appetite admiring Bernie’s handiwork.
Sometimes Mirrie gets so excited she forgets to quit walking forward while she’s munching.
Georgia is convinced the best leaves are the highest leaves.
She does a pretty good job of stretching up to some of the taller branches.
Mirrie likes to do her browsing a little closer to the ground.
That way she can ham it up for the camera a little easier.
Sweet little goat babies.

WOW! I’d love to have that type of slatted work over my patio!
Beautiful pictures Penny, and awesome work Bernie!!!
Love you!!
The goat house looks great!!! Bernie has really outdone himself. And look at those long ears on that girl.
And that big round belly!!! I love seeing my boys when their bellies are so full.
Julie – That will end up having a roof on it, but when you said that I could just picture it in your yard – you’d have it completely shading the ground with all sorts of vines! I bet it would be awesome. Oh Joooooooeeeeee…… yoo hoo…… Julie needs a slatted roof over the patiiiiiooooooo…..
Frugalmom – aren’t those ears simply amazing??? I never notice them until I post a picture. They are mighty impressive. And I know what you mean about those little round bellies. *sigh* Just makes me want to kiss the ears right off of them!
Looks fantastic! I love love love those long ears. My goats make pretty babies! LOL
Bernie you do GREAT work love it !!!
The girl are looking so good love those long ears and fat little belly’s sticking out the side.
Angie – those ears are just awesome! People have commented on them, but when I look at them, they just don’t look so long to me. Until I see a picture – and then I think “Dang – those are all kinda long ears.” So precious. Bernie says he thinks those long ears help channel the heat away from them through the veins. He may just be right about that.
That is one impressive goat barn, my hat is off to you! (Trying to decide if that is something in our future, I would really like cashmeres…) And those little full bellies, who couldn’t feel happy looking at that!
Cat
What a terrific barn and lean-to! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again….that Bernie is one talented fella!
Love the pics of the girls browsing. I just want to rub those long ears and pat those full tummies…but you’ll have to do it for me. And throw in a kiss or two while you’re at it!
sigh……….. heaven thats where you live, with one of heavens angels lol…….. well I would believe that if I ‘did god’ lol
