Hey Cotton Lady - in my determination to delete out 28 spam comments, I'm afraid I accidently deleted yours as well - darnit! And I can't get it back :-( I really apologize.

I'm so happy you had a nice vacation in Australia/New Zealand. I heard about all the fires in that area of the world and I hope it didn't affect your trip. I've always wanted to go to Australia. I bet your weather was gorgeous! Welcome back!!!!!

Lilla - I think they look so darn cute in those saddles! I made a few more and I'm just using scraps of material I have around here. I made a couple out of old jean legs - but I really prefer using material with the fusable interface. Much easier to deal with. I had some easter fabric - bunnies and such - so I made 4 out of that. I'm not sure the girls are too crazy about that.... I'll post some pics soon.

frugalmom - they really only take about 20 minutes to cut and sew. Sewing on the snaps takes the most time! Some where (in a box, of course) I have one of those fancy snap snapper on thingies, but I can't find it. I'm not much of a seamstress, so if I can do it, anyone can! And I bet your friend's over-mated hen would really appreciate wearing such a fashionable piece of clothing ;-)

My friends and I were just talking about chicken saddles. Some of them are having the same issues with their girls. Didnt take you any time at all to sew that up, huh?

I have never cracked open an egg that didnt have a yolk. Thats pretty crazy. I love seeing it up there on your scale.

Oh Penny, that is just the cutest thing! I love it! If we tried to put something like that on our dogs or cats, they would protest for sure. Who knew chickens would be so into fashion?

Hi Jocelyn! Isn't it just adorable??? I was quite pleased with how it turned out. I used scrap material I had leftover from a quilt. The next ones will have easter bunnies on them ;-) I also cut two out of old jeans. My chics will be stylin' for sure! I'll definitely post some fashion show pics of my girls in their new threads.
