Sorry to hear your family lost a friend Penny. Youre right, there is always a special place in our hearts for our animals and losing them is always difficult.

Oh, I am so sorry for your loss. We too, have two aging dogs and I can't even imagine how heart breaking it will be when they pass on. I pray that you will have peace soon.

Thanks, frugalmom. T.C. was actually my parents' dog (that's mom with him in the picture), and was very much a part of our family. My parent's are just devastated. He was a sweet, good dog and he lived a long, happy life. I really will miss him - seems he was always there, and they would bring him up here when they visited. Pets seem to have a way of wrapping their souls around our hearts and unfortunately, chances are good we will always outlive them. It's never easy. My parents will be fine. They just need to grieve a little.

Thanks for the sweet note.
